Leyburn and District u3a
Leyburn is a market town in the heart of Wensleydale, North Yorkshire. We are a thriving community and the area is popular with walkers, cyclists and holidaymakers who like to experience the beauty and grandeur of the Yorkshire Dales.
Our monthly meetings are held at the Leyburn Arts and Community Centre pictured here.
Leyburn and District u3a was formed in October 2015 following many months, indeed years of discussion and planning.
At the 1st AGM more than 120 members had signed up, many of whom live in the villages around Leyburn, and upwards of 20 interest groups are now up and running.
Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Friday of every month at Leyburn Arts and Community Centre (LACC). The doors open at 10.00am for coffee and a chance to catch up. The speaker meeting starts at 10.30am. For details about the talks and Speakers please see the 'Events' page.
